Bob St. Claire – President
Bob’s career in strategic marketing began some 25 years ago in the fires of Macy’s marketing department, and since that time he has emerged as a well-respected strategist in the particular fields of health care and relationship marketing. As a guest speaker at both Ball State University and the Forum for Healthcare Strategy and Marketing, Bob’s wealth of strategic experience is an asset not only to groups such as these, but to the clients of SCG as well.
To this last point, Bob is somewhat an atypical President. He enjoys working with clients and has never aspired to be, as he puts it, “…simply an administrative owner of an enterprise.” He continues, “I love strategy, and working with staff and clients to articulate such. To do that, I have to understand our clients’ objectives and capabilities, and I don’t know how you gain that sitting in your office all day essentially contemplating yourself.”
Ken Haupt – Senior Vice President
Ken Haupt, Sr. Vice President of Client Services, has over 20 years of health care marketing experience on both the client and consultant side of health care. Ken spent 10 years at various levels in the marketing department at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, and served for four years as the Director of Marketing for OrthoIndy, a private practice of more than 60 orthopedic surgeons, prior to joining St. Claire Group.
His knowledge of the health care industry and ability to understand the unique relationships of the physician and the service lines of hospitals provide a valuable asset to the clients he serves. Ken’s health care experience over the past six years as a member of the St. Claire Group team includes working with healthcare clients including; Adena Health System (Chillicothe, OH); St. Vincent Health System (Indianapolis, IN); Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (South Bend, IN); CorVasc, MD’s, P.C. (Indianapolis, IN); and Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center (Jasper, IN).
Laura Roman – Vice President/Account Supervisor
Laura Roman has spent more than 30 years in marketing, the last 25 focused in health care. Her experience includes marketing communications development for hospitals, specialty physician practices and healthcare insurance providers. Laura has worked on both the agency and client side – and feels that this enables her to better understand her client’s needs.
As the Director of Marketing and Guest Relations for The Indiana Heart Hospital, Laura developed strategy for the country’s first all-digital specialty hospital. She was also responsible for the development of a proprietary guest relations patient experience program, introducing the larger network to a new patient-focused culture.
Recently Laura has served as Vice President/Account Supervisor on the St.Vincent Health account. St.Vincent is a system that includes 20 health ministries throughout Central Indiana.
Jennifer Renzi – Media Director
Jennifer Renzi began her career in media with EchoPoint Media, where she worked on numerous accounts from a variety of industries, including Steak’n Shake, Goodwill, Red Gold, and Delta Faucets.
Jen’s introduction to health care occurred when EchoPoint gained the Clarian Health account in 2006. Realizing she was passionate about working with the healthcare industry, Jen eventually concentrated solely on this account. As the Media Supervisor on Clarian Health, she was instrumental in the planning and implementation of the Indiana University Health re-branding campaign that launched in January 2011. Her desire to continue working with healthcare clients has now led her to serve as the Media Director at St. Claire Group.
Jen brings a creative, forward-thinking approach to media. Tailoring each plan to meet her clients’ unique needs, she utilizes a mix of both traditional and non-traditional media in the pursuit to reach the right audience at the right time.
